DetailsBoth lifeboats were requested to launch just after 4.15pm on Saturday 20th April, after Milford Haven Coastguard received multiple reports of groups of people cut off by the tide at First Bay, Tenby. The boats were quickly on scene and were directed towards the casulaties by ex-RNLI lifeboat 'Mary Gabriel' - now a passeneger vessel in Tenby. The inshore lifeboat went into the rocks and took off the 6 persons and a dog, before dropping them aboard the all-weather lifeboat. They were then taken back to the lifeboat station, where they were met by Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team who gave them safety advice.
