DetailsTenby's RNLI all-weather lifeboat was launched shortly after 11.30am on Friday 15th November, over fears for the owner of a dog that had reportedly gone in after it when it fell off a cliff into the sea at Rhossili.

The volunteer crew were quickly on the water and headed for Rhossili, 15 miles east of Tenby. Whilst enroute, further news came in that the dog owner had rescued his dog and both were now ashore and in no further danger.

The lifeboat stood down and returned to Tenby.
