Tenby’s relief RNLI all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch at 1pm yesterday (Sunday 14th Jan) after an 11-year-old boy went missing whilst surfing on Rhossili Beach, 15 miles east of Tenby.
As the boat was preparing to launch, the Coastguard received confirmation that the boy had been found safe and well ashore. The lifeboat was stood down.
Burry Port and Horton and Port Eynon inshore lifeboats were also asked to launch.
