On Tues 3rd March, a team from Superfast Wales visited Tenby Lifeboat Station to present a cheque for over £2000 to the crew. The money was raised through sponsorship after members of BT and their suppliers took part in the Saundersfoot New Years Day swim. The money will be used for crew training. Many thanks Superfast Wales!!!

Tenby RNLI’s annual Pancake race took place yesterday – 17th Feb.
The race, which is now in its 5th year, was once again a huge success with the public joining the volunteer crew in raising money for the charity. 7 races were held in the town’s Tudor Square with both adults and children alike joining in the fun. The final race of the day was between members of the crew, with Rhys Thomas coming out on top. One of the children taking part was Connor Franklyn aged 9 of Greenhill Primary School, Gelligaer who raised £170 for Tenby RNLI – an amazing effort! He even had his own Lifeboat kit!
Phil John, Tenby Lifeboat Coxswain said – “It’s great to see both the local community and tourists coming together once again to support the RNLI in what has become a hotly anticipated, annual fun race.”
