Haydn Miller launched after reports of cliff faller.
Tenby’s all-weather lifeboat was tasked by Milford Haven Coastguard shortly after 4pm on Monday25th May after they received reports that a person had fallen off a cliff in Bull Slaughter Bay. As the volunteer crew were making their way to join Rescue 169 helicopter and Tenby and St Govan’s cliff rescue teams, the volunteers were informed that the casualty had been winched up to the helicopter and was being transferred to hospital.
Before leaving the scene, the volunteers decided to deploy the smaller y-boat to check on the rest of the climbing party before returning to station. The party were asked if they would like to be transferred back to shore on the lifeboat but the offer was declined.
