Haydn Miller launches to assist possible drifting yacht . . . .

Tenby’s RNLI all-weather lifeboat Haydn Miller launched shortly before 4am on Sunday 17 July after the owner of a yacht moored off Tenby thought that the vessel moored near him had broken it’s mooring and was drifting eastwards.

The lifeboat was soon on the water and the volunteer crew quickly located the yacht in question. After speaking to the owner, who was aboard, he confirmed that he was not drifting and was in no need of assistance.

The lifeboat made a quick search of the area to rule out any other casualties before returning to station at around 4.20am.
