DetailsTenby’s inshore lifeboat was launched at around 1.15pm on Tuesday 11th August, after RNLI beach lifeguards requested assistance when several swimmers were in danger of being caught in a rip off Tenby’s Castle Beach.

The volunteer crew were quickly on scene and stood by as the swimmers made their way ashore, assisted by the lifeguards.

Once everyone was safe ashore, the lifeboat was stood down to return to station.
