Details | As they were about to return to station following their previous job, the lifeboat crew were requested to make their way to South beach, to assist with casualty care and the setting up of a helicopter landing site, after a swimmer had suffered a fit on the beach after banging his head whilst in the water.
The lifeboat was at South beach in under a minute and a crew member was put ashore to assist the RNLI lifeguards and Coastguard Team with the casualty until the Air Ambulance and land ambulance arrived to take over.
With their job done, the crew were stood down and returned to station, arriving at 2.50pm. |
