DetailsTenby's RNLI inshore lifeboat was requested to launch shortly after 9pm on Tuesday 18th August, after one of the station's Deputy Launching Authorities spotted a small sailing dinghy struggling to make way towards Tenby in lights winds, against an ebbing tide.

The volunteer crew were soon alongside the vessel, which had started to make headway again, with the owner happy to continue under sail.

The lifeboat stood down and returned to station, arriving at 9.25pm.
