Tenby and Angle lifeboats team up on rescue.

As Tenby’s all-weather lifeboat was already near Freshwater East whilst returning from their previous shout, the volunteer crew were requested to assist a small seven metre power boat with a fouled propeller in Freshwater West Bay. The all-weather lifeboat made its way around to the bay and towed the boat towards Sheep Rock. In the meantime, Angle RNLI all-weather lifeboat launched their Tamar class lifeboat shortly before 6pm to a continue to tow the power boat to the safety of Neyland Marina. The small power boat was towed for 10 miles by Angle RNLI, arriving safely at Neyland Marina by 7:15pm.

Both lifeboats were finally stood down, with Tenby volunteers returning to station at 7:10pm whilst Angle volunteers following shortly after at 7:45pm.
