|Details||Tenby’s RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched at 3.55pm on Sunday 19th July, after a report of an upturned kayak off Amroth.
Whilst the volunteer crew were making their way to Amroth, the Coastguard reported that the occupant had managed to swim ashore and was in the care of Tenby Coastguard team members. However, his kayak was still drifting, so the lifeboat was tasked to find and retrieve it.
After a brief search, the kayak was located and dropped ashore at Amroth.
The lifeboat then returned to station, arriving at 5pm.
