Inshore lifeboat launched after person gets stuck on cliff . . . .
Tenby’s RNLI inshore lifeboat was requested to launch at 11.55am on Friday 27th July after the Coastguard received a call from a walker, stating that he was stuck on rocks between Pidgeon’s Cave and Piss rock.
Within minutes, the lifeboat was underneath the casualty, who was about 10ft above the water’s edge, and with a little coaxing from the volunteer crew, he was soon in the boat and on his way back to Tenby harbour, where he was put safely ashore on the Mayor’s slip.
The lifeboat was then re-housed.
