Inshore lifeboat launched after person spotted entering water fully clothed . . . .
Shortly before 11pm on Tuesday 31st July, Tenby’s RNLI inshore lifeboat was launched for a second time in the day, this time after a report from a member of the public that a person had entered the water near Goscar Rock fully clothed but had not been seen to return.
The lifeboat was soon on the water, with the volunteer crew searching between Tenby Harbour and 1st Point, whilst Police and Coastguard teams searched from the shore.
After a thorough search, and with nothing found and nobody reported missing, the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station at 12.30am.
